On June 19, 2024, Professor Cesar Flores, the Associate Provost of Northern Arizona University in the United States, and Ms. Bai Yuting, the representative of Northern Arizona University in China, visited our institute for academic exchange. Student representatives from the Class 2001 of the Vehicle Engineering (Sino-US Credit Recognition Program) and all students from Class 2301 participated in the symposium and exchange.

Geng Guoqing, the Vice President of the Automotive College, extended a warm welcome to Cesar Flores, the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, and his delegation for their research and exchange visit. He introduced the internationalization efforts of the Automotive College, Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, the cultivation of internationally competitive talent, and policies for international students studying in China. He looks forward to both sides summarizing the experience of the existing program, optimizing the training scheme, broadening the scope of cooperation, and forming a long-term cooperation and exchange mechanism.

Vice Dean Cesar Flores has thoroughly understood the study and life situation of the students as well as the optimization suggestions for the existing training program. He expressed that he will definitely focus on the concerns of the students, actively consult and communicate, promote the optimization of the training program, expand the results of the Sino-US 121 credit recognition project, and cultivate more outstanding students.
